ATTACHMENT DISORDERS PARENT GROUP

A Therapeutic Group for Parents Who Have Attachment Disorders or Whose Children Have Attachment Disorders
Kathleen Landry, MA Candidate
Ongoing—call for dates and times

The parent-child attachment relationship is the cornerstone of human development and well-being. Disruptions to this relationship due to adoption, foster care, abuse, trauma, or death can create difficulties in many areas of a person’s life, and can complicate parenting a great deal. This group will focus on understanding the attachment system, exploring our own early attachment relationships, adjusting our parenting and discipline practices for greater success, and looking at ways we can change and improve our attachment relationship to our children and adult partners/spouses.
